›The Glenkeen Variation: Aftergrowth‹

Members of Ensemble Modern will give the world premiere of ›Glenkeen Nature Score Leporello‹, a work which Mareike Dobewall developed as part of her Glenkeen Garden Residency at the Crespo Foundation. Dobewall expands her sonic research, using architectural spaces as dialogue partners and turning towards nature. Over extended periods of time, she observes patterns expressed through interrelatedness. Natural phenomena seem mysterious here, and visual notation offers a different approach to performative and musical interpretation. The notation of nature is transformed into music, and music into an experience of nature.

The event is part of the exhibition ›The Glenkeen Variations: Aftergrowth‹ at the Open Space of the Crespo House. The exhibition will be open from 5 pm on that day.
