Mixed Double

In this new format launched by Sound Port Frankfurt, different artistic disciplines meet in an intriguing counterpoint: twice in one evening, two artists share a stage – spontaneously creating a unique experience which might include music, painting, film, spoken word and dance. While the first ›Mixed Double‹ featured an encounter between music and painting as well as language, dance is the focus on January 25. Eva Böcker (cello) and Hermann Kretschmar (piano) are joined by the two dancers Bojana Mitrović and Ulysse Zangs, highlighting interfaces between music and dance. Each artform unfolds in its own way – but in conjunction with the other, resulting in a vibrant, surprising overall experience.
