Final concert ›ICCS young_talents‹
International Composer & Conductor SeminarsMid-July sees the first round of ›ICCS_young talents‹, a one-week master course for composers up to the age of 24. The five selected composers, Yngwie Janseghers (*Belgium), Sohui Jeong (*South Korea), Milica Modra (*Serbia), Emircan Pehlivan (*Turkey) and Parsa Zandi (*Iran) will work on their pieces with Ensemble Modern as well as the coaches Bas Wiegers and Iris ter Schiphorst at Ensemble Modern’s headquarters. The course also features workshops on subjects such as instrumental knowledge, notation, electronics or ensemble sound. The culminating concert at the Haus der Deutschen Ensemble Akademie will feature the composers’ works, performed by Ensemble Modern and conducted by the current IEMA fellow Xizi Wang and Bas Wiegers. The concert is also available digitally: it will be streamed live on Ensemble Modern’s YouTube channel!
