Spring Concerts of the IEMA Ensemble 2019/20

Professionalization in the field of new music: after intense studies and rehearsals supervised by members of Ensemble Modern, the IEMA Ensemble 2019/20 demonstrates the great versatility of current music in three spring concerts at the HfMDK. In the shortest possible time, the audience traverses a broad spectrum of music: apart from »classics« by Elliott Carter and Tristan Murail, there will be works featuring electronics and world premieres as well. In Mauricio Kagel’s ›Pas de cinq‹, the musicians come out from behind their instruments and invite the audience to enjoy »everyday« sound experiences.
