Final concerts IEMA Ensemble 2016/17

The IEMA Ensemble 2016/17 concludes its master’s degree course in Contemporary Music with eight concerts in Utrecht, Frankfurt and Karlsruhe between September 7 and 24. Four world premieres by young composers will be presented as part of the ›Gaudeamus Muziekweek‹, with subsequent German premieres at the Frankfurt am Main Academy of Music and the Performing Arts. They will be flanked by works by Mauricio Kagel, Pierre Boulez, Helmut Lachenmann, Dai Fujikura and Mark Applebaum. The Ensemble also presents a staged concert evening at the ZKM Karlsruhe.
