Under the motto TRANSIT, the fourth edition of ›cresc... Biennial for Modern Music Frankfurt Rhine Main‹, presented by Ensemble Modern and the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, offers ensemble and orchestral music, jazz, dance and music performances throughout the Frankfurt Rhine Main region from November 22 to 26, 2017. The term TRANSIT, a term inherent in music and resounding art forms, opens a field of tension which is given special space within the festival: with artists who build bridges, transcend borders, keep redefining their space and move between countries, cultures and genres.
