Guest Appearances

For the 13th time, the master course Klangspuren International Ensemble Modern Academy takes place in September. Never before have Ensemble Modern and the International Ensemble Modern Academy presented such a breadth of ensemble formations at the Tyrolean festival Klangspuren: the opening concert under the baton of Enno Poppe will be performed by the Ensemble Modern Orchestra. The Ensemble Modern musicians will be joined by the participants in the master course – the Klangspuren Academy Ensemble – and the current IEMA Ensemble Frankfurt. Over the following days, the two ensembles will be heard in individual concerts. Ensemble Modern completes the overview of contemporary music with works by young composers.
