New CD Release

“Travelling Pieces” is the latest release in the series of portrait CDs by Ensemble Modern Media. Saar Berger introduces a very personal selection of contemporary and most recent music for French horn on this double CD. “Travelling Pieces” unites works by 17 composers from twelve countries and four continents. Many of the pieces are dedicated to Saar Berger and were developed in intense exchange between him and the composers. CD 1 features solo literature; CD 2 is dedicated to chamber music pieces with horn. “The focus was always on discovering new musical languages and means of expression,” Saar Berger emphasises.
