The IEMA Ensemble on CD:

The title of the new CD, ›Euclidian Abyss‹, is taken from a work by Hugues Dufourt, inspired by Barnett Newman’s painting of the same name. In addition, the IEMA Fellows of 2012/13 interpret works from the repertoire of their Master’s Degree course, for example Friedrich Cerha’s Quintet for Oboe and String Quartet, Unsuk Chin’s ›Fantaisie mécanique‹ and ›Colonies‹, composed especially for IEMA by Steingrimur Rohloff and premiered at Deutschlandfunk’s ›New Music Forum‹ in Cologne in April 2013. The CD was released by Ensemble Modern Media and can be purchased for 18 Euros through our Shop.
