Who am I?

“Whence? Whither? – Myths, Nation, Identities“. This joint project of the Goethe Institute, the Ensemble Modern and the BHF Bank Foundation has eight young composers from Central Eastern Europe question historical and current myths of their homelands by musical means. The works resulting from this project were given their world premieres in Munich in December 2012 and subsequently performed in Frankfurt. The project has now taken the EM to the Warsaw Autumn Festival at the end of September and at the Latvian National Opera in Riga. It will be presented and at the newly opened Budapest Music Center (Oct. 11/12), too.
