KulturTagJahr

Since 2009, the Ensemble Modern is one of the main partners in ALTANA Cultural Foundation’s interdisciplinary project "KulturTagJahr" (Culture Day Year). At the centre of this year-long project Frankfurt pupils are joined with professional artists of different genres for a weekly culture day. In the school year of 2012/13, 210 students from Frankfurt schools (IGS Nordend, Bettinaschule Frankfurt, Charles-Hallgarten-Schule) worked together with EM-musicians on creating their own sounds and composition.
