New CD:

The Ensemble Modern is happy to present the newest addition to the series of recordings published on EM Media: Hans Zender‘s "33 Veränderungen über 33 Veränderungen". Zender‘s "composed interpretation" of Beethoven‘s "Diabelli Variations" was premiered in Berlin in 2011 and afterwards performed in Frankfurt, Strasbourg and Salzburg. For this recording, Hans Zender conducted the Ensemble himself, thus making this release a tribute to Zender both as a composer and a conductor. The CD is now available to purchase from our shop.
