Call for application

The Frankfurt-based Ensemble Modern is calling for applications for Solo-Bass- / Contrabassclarinet, also B-clarinet, E-flat clarinet, etc.

Required repertoire:

• W.A. Mozart: Clarinet concerto in A major, KV 622
• J.M. Staud: Black Moon, for bass clarinette
• One contemporary solopiece for bass- or contrabassclarinet

We will sent further ensemble studies and excerpts to applicants along with the invitation to the audition or can be found on our homepage from June 15th 2011.

Spectrum of creative tasks: ensemble playing, chamber music and solo performance.

The Ensemble Modern (company constituted under civil law) expects, apart from the involvement in its concerts, a committed participation in its self-governed modus operandi, which includes contentual planning, lecturing at the International Ensemble Modern Academy, Mastercourses, etc.)

We accept the usual application papers until July 15th 2011. Auditions are planned to be held on October 7th or 8th 2011.
