Spring Concerts

After the IEMA-Ensemble 2025/26 recently performed brand-new works at the Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm as part of the cresc… Biennial for Current Music Frankfurt Rhine Main, its next appearances are three spring concerts at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts (HfMDK). In addition to the work ›orchid pavilion (telemusic)‹ by the IEMA composer Haotian Yu, which had its world premiere at the Mousonturm, Bernd Alois Zimmermann’s ›Monologues for Two Pianos‹ and the superficially chaotic jam session ›The Light of the Dark‹ by Michael Gordon will be heard, as well as colourful ensemble works such as Iris ter Schiphorst’s ›Klang-Erzählungen‹, Sofia Gubaidulina’s ›Quasi Hoquetus‹ and Luca Francesconi’s ›Aria Novella‹.
