Flutist Dietmar Wiesner

After a total of 45 years, Dietmar Wiesner would like to pass on his position as a flutist and member of Ensemble Modern to a successor. As a founding member, flutist, a member of the executive committee for decades, and now also as the academic leader of the International Ensemble Modern Academy, he has decisively shaped the ensemble with infinite energy and artistic curiosity, as an instrumental, programmatic and human force in its development, from the founding days to the present.
