Lunch Concert

Come to the ROMANFABRIK for a slightly different lunch break: have a snack, enjoy a drink at the bar, and experience current music. At the fourth Lunch Concert, members of Ensemble Modern and the IEMA-Ensemble 2025/26 – Megumi Kasakawa and Ynyr Pritchard (viola) and Suzune Masumoto (violin) – present works by the Japanese composer Malika Kishino (›Lamento II based on a folk song from Fukushima‹ for violin and viola, 2013), the Spanish composer Elena Mendoza (›Contra-dicción‹ for two violas, 2001) and the Swiss composer Heinz Holliger (›Souvenirs trémaësques‹ for viola, 2000/2001). The concert encompasses the entire space, creating a special sonic experience for the listeners. For lunch, the restaurant Leuchtendroter offers a choice of sweet potato curry or quiche.
