Sound Port Frankfurt Talk

The activities of the Sound Port Frankfurt are gradually taking shape. They include the new format ›Sound Port Frankfurt Talks‹, in which musicians interview guests from various fields. In the first talk with the sound director Norbert Ommer, the documentary filmmaker Thorsten Schütte discusses the crises, strategies and challenges of his work, using numerous practical examples and film clips – also illuminating how failures can lead to new approaches and creative solutions. For 30 years, Thorsten Schütte has dedicated himself to a multitude of musical subjects. Whether portraits, series, interactive exhibitions or cinematic documentaries – over the course of the years, he has continuously developed his filmic idiom and narrative method.
