Final Concert Young Ensemble Academy

In July 2022 Ensemble Modern and the International Ensemble Modern Academy launch a new course format tailored specifically to existing, but young instrumental ensembles in the New Music field. During an intense one-week academy, Ensemble Modern members will work on a diverse programme with five ensembles from five countries. In a public final concert at the Alte Seilerei, the ensembles present themselves individually in works by composers including Nomi Epstein, Sara Glojnarić, Gérard Grisey, Johannes Kreidler and Nina Šenk. Furthermore, they present works by Hans Zender and a world premiere by David Fennessy together and with musicians of Ensemble Modern.
