Checkpoint Paul Frick

As part of its next Checkpoint, Ensemble Modern meets the Berlin-based composer, producer and DJ Paul Frick. Together, they explore the possibilities of cross-genre dialogue between electronic dance music and contemporary music. Paul Frick is interested in progressions of notated music towards guided improvisations. Together with synthesizer and mixing console, acoustically produced sounds are transformed into danceable, rhythmic music. Ensemble Modern will livestream this concert exclusively as part of its series ›On Air‹.
