Ensemble Modern Orchestra

The Ensemble Modern Orchestra makes guest appearances at Berlin’s Philharmonie (September 3) and Munich’s Prinzregententheater (September 28) with Enno Poppe conducting. In addition to works by Anton Webern, the programme features Mathias Spahlinger’s ›passage/paysage‹ – a highlight of 20th-century orchestral literature. For special occasions, Ensemble Modern invites numerous guest musicians to form this large-scale orchestra, touring the world’s major concert stages with projects rarely performed on the international music scene.
