Jazz im Palmengarten

Together with the jazz trio Fossile3 and the Danish saxophone player and composer Lotte Anker, Ensemble Modern makes a guest appearance at Frankfurt’s concert series ›Jazz im Palmengarten‹ on July 5, 2018. The concert explores the interface between New Music and experimental, contemporary jazz. Together, the musicians plumb their individual musical experiences with classical music and jazz for new paths, leading them somewhere between improvised and notated music.
