IEMA-Ensemble 2013/14

The IEMA Ensemble 2013/14 concludes its master’s degree course in “Contemporary Music” with eight concerts in September. Apart from the final concert at the ZKM in Karlsruhe and the Frankfurt Academy of Music and Performing Arts, it also appears at the Frankfurt LAB, at the Gaudeamus Muziekweek in Utrecht and at the Festival of Young Talents in Offenbach. The programme features four world premieres, the performance of new works and 20th century “classics”, as well as the staged evening “The Thing”: within the scenic landscape of this horror film by John Carpenter, the works “Lo-Shu I” by Hans Zender and “Brot” by Enno Poppe begin to mutate into a new variation.
