Portrait Concert: Megumi Kasakawa

On February 22 (at 8:00 pm) violist Megumi Kasakawa, an Ensemble Modern member since 2010, performs a portrait concert. This event takes place in the hall of the top floor of the German Ensemble Academy, as part of its concert series »Concerts under the Roof«. Megumi Kasakawa performs solo pieces by Quincy Porter and Haruyuki Suzuki as well as ›Jajgatós‹ by Martón Illés, written as recently as 2013. Together with her EM colleagues Rainer Römer, Jagdish Mistry and Michael M. Kasper, she also performs Luciano Berio’s ›Naturale‹ and the Trio for Violin, Viola and Cello by Paul Hindemith.
