Ensemble Modern remixed!

The programme "Ensemble Modern remixed" (18 jan, 19 jan) combines the traditional concert situation with the idea of a live-remix. The first part of the concert includes premieres by Erik Bünger, Marcus Antonius Wesselmann and Vito Žuraj – performed by the EM and conductor Kasper de Roo. For the second half of the concert, the sound-artists Jan Bang and Erik Honoré, founders of the Norwegian PUNKT festival, are joined by singer Sidsel Endresen and will take the freshly premiered and recorded pieces as their basis for a virtuoso Live-Remix. The material is sampled and thereafter electronically de- and reconstructed, compressed, layered, stretched and assembled anew. Definitely a unique, unrepeatable experience.
