Audio and video productions of the Ensemble Modern now appear under the label Ensemble Modern Medien (EMM). The goal is to save the unique performances of the Ensemble in an appropriate form and to make them accessible to the interested public.
The series »Ensemble Modern Portrait« produced under the Ensemble Modern Medien label deserves special attention. In this series, the musicians of the Ensemble Modern present their own portrait albums with personal programmes. The recordings were produced in cooperation with Hessischer Rundfunk, hr2-kultur.
The publishing section is also currently being developed. EMM specifically publishes works by outstanding composers who collaborate closely and intensively with the Ensemble Modern.
